Presedential blog
My idea for solving the economic issue would be to encourage people to buy small houses, then a few years later to rent them and buy a larger house. This way you can start out on a house where you definitely can afford to pay off the loan in a reasonable amount of years, and then you can rent it and move on to bigger houses, and bigger loans. If people started doing this the economy would slowly start to rebuild and get back to normal.

How will your solution fix the current bank problems?

I think your idea is good, but what if you have a big family with many people in your family then all of you won't fit in the small house. That would be a BIG problem.
That is a good idea hannah, but there would be an even BIGGER problem if you have a big family and you buy a big house that you CANT afford.
