Why did the Maya collapse?

I believe that the leading cause of the Maya collapsing would be not enough rotation of the crops which would have a similar effect to the dustbowl. Many Mayans died of anemia, which comes down to not having enough nutrition in their diet. Another clue that points to my theory would be the erosian of the hillside coming down on houses. Many monuments from the Mayan time just suddenly ended one day, which ties into the land, this would give the land enough time to repair. Although my theory looks pretty good there are a lot of theories out there that are worth looking at also.

Vise Presidential Debate

I believe that John McCain and Barack Obama are both incorrect because I believe that in this particular issue, the economy, John McCain has pushed for to much deregulation and Barack Obama has pushed for too much regulation. I would normally go for deregulation, but not for everything.

I think that taxes should be reduced as much as they can be reduced without causing problems.
*Without causing problems is the key phrase, taxes should be reduced just enought as to where the american people are not getting scammed but they shouldent be reduced so much that there is not enough money for what the country needs to acomplish.

On this particular issue I believe there should be a timeline but the one that Obama and Biden have suggested may be to short in my oppinion. I think that we may need a few more months or even longer to stabilize Iraq. Some people may argue that this will just waste troops but I believe that if we pull out too soon it will be much worse in the long run.

I think that the percent of taxes you pay should be the same for everyone, I do not think that if you are rich you should have to pay more a larger percent of taxes than if you are poor. I believe this because if you are rich you probably worked really really hard for that money and you should not have to give it away.

Presedential blog

My idea for solving the economic issue would be to encourage people to buy small houses, then a few years later to rent them and buy a larger house. This way you can start out on a house where you definitely can afford to pay off the loan in a reasonable amount of years, and then you can rent it and move on to bigger houses, and bigger loans. If people started doing this the economy would slowly start to rebuild and get back to normal.
